We were teased with a few days of temperatures in the 70’s, and then just as quickly as they came, they were gone. I love getting outside to walk barefoot in the grass and work in the back yard. There must be some sort of perfectionism in me for the outside. I guess it is trying to mimic Mother Nature. The perfection doesn’t run inside of me when I step back into my house. Here is one of my favorite songs by John Denver. I love to tell Alexa to play his songs while I am coloring. Maybe it is the memories from a different time, or maybe I just love his voice. He is one of my favorites, and one gone too soon.
Here’s a fun drawing to watch. It is fun to try, too. I outline the area where I will be doing the doodling. Then I start drawing. The more I do it, the faster it comes to me. I don’t even have to think about it now. Those pen strokes keep coming. As long as my picture looks rather balanced, I am happy. SHe would be fun to color, but it would probably take quite a while. Maybe some day I will color her and use lots of glittering nail polish fine liners. They are easy to use and give you a lot of control because of their great brushes in the bottle.
Here’s what I use for glitter from Amazon. It works great on my drawings.
This picture is loaded with glitter polish….it is difficult to photograph. You can kind of see it in the flowers. I love making my coloring pictures sparkle with the glitter pens because it is a delicate sparkle. The glitter makes the picture come alive. You can see it in the picture below, also.
I hope all of you are staying put and remaining healthy. I am grateful for all the front line people doing so much work to keep us going and save lives.
Here are some free downloads for you to color.
