I never thought about what a good material chocolate is to sculpt with. When sculpting, you need to be able to add to your art piece and subtract from it easily to get the perfect likeness you are looking for.  Chocolate melts in the microwave quickly and stays warm and in a liquid state for a long time. Details could be applied on the basic chunks of chocolate with warmed chocolate and a paint brush. The liquid would harden as soon as it hit the basic carving.  I like my works of art to be smooth and going over the piece carefully with a hair dryer would provide a lustrous finish.  And since chocolate is quite malleable when warm, slicing away the parts you don’t want would be a piece of cake…… great for snack time.
